Will
Will has always wanted to play football. He used all his school vacations going to football camps and was born and bred to play. His mama told him that his daddy used to play ball in high school. He loves every minute of it.
Will was left with his mother when he was only six years old. His father left with no warning to either and neither Will nor his mother make it a point to talk about him much. Will and his mom have a deep bond and a loving relationship. She works two jobs to give him the things he needs and Will is greatly appreciative and doesn't cause his mom any problems.
He hopes that one day a football scout will see him play and he will get the scholarship that he deserves. He prays that one day he will be able to repay his mother for all the things she has sacrificed for him. he loves his mother and would be lost without her.
Will has a good football body with a height of 6'3'', big boned body and wide shoulders. A hefty frame and wide shoulders, brown hair and brown eyes. 320 lbs.
Will has a part time job and is an active member in his life. he doesn't let his life pass him by but rather spends every minute trying to repay his mother for the things she has given him. He doesn't go out and party all night but studies and devotes his time to practicing football because he knows that is the only thing going to get him into college.
Lately Will has felt the pressure come down on him, Everything is riding on how well he plays football. Not only playing football but with the massive amounts of schoolwork that is laid on a junior, he doesn't have a lot of downtime. Will is starting to get stressed and that could lead to carelessness. He feels he might need something to help him play his best and win that scholarship.
So the scene starts with Will at football practice. He and some other players are in the locker room and one of the guys is talking about steroids. He said he doesn't take them but if any of the guys want some he knows where to find them. Will stands conflicted. he could be offered a chance to set everything on a straight path if he takes the drugs but he knows his mama would kill him if she ever found out. Not to mention if the scouts found out he would be eliminated from their options. So what is he to do, take the drugs and win the scholarship at risk of losing everything or go drug free and maybe not have the power or impression to leave behind with the scouts.
